FICUS WHITEFLY

FICUS WHITEFLY: Through the years there have been many new species of whitefly arrive in South Florida that have wreaked havoc on our landscape. The Ficus Whitefly was one of the first to arrive back in 2007 and has managed to survive and thrive for over 11 years now. This species of whitefly is selective in its attack on foliage and will only attach itself to the ficus hedges and ficus trees thus acquiring the name Ficus Whitefly.

FICUS WHITEFLY TREATMENT: Although the Ficus Whitefly has proven to be resilient in surviving for many years and there is no permanent cure for it yet, we have developed sophisticated formulas to treat your ficus hedges and trees that will kill the whitefly and return you landscape back to a healthy state. Our new formulas will protect your ficus hedges for a full year and come with a 10 month guarantee. The formula that we have developed is a mix of many different chemicals that perform different functions.

The main thing is to kill the existing whitefly in order to stop the damage that is occurring. This is done with a systemic insecticide that will be absorbed into the ficus plant. This chemical does not harm the plant and once absorbed the ficus will become lethal to the whitefly when they try to feed. Killing the whitefly will not be enough and will not return the ficus back to a healthy state.
